First Year
At the VBI School of Worship, our goal is to equip you to step into the call of a worship leader in anointing and excellence. You will receive training in worship-leading skills, including vocal and instrumental, and song writing and recording skills.
You will also receive hands-on experience through the opportunity to audition for a VBI worship team, as well as the opportunity to participate in the worship ministry of Victory Christian Center. You will be equipped with the spiritual training to reach church, culture and missions settings. You will receive spiritual impartation that will cultivate your passion for worship and enable you to usher in God’s presence. During the year, guest worship leaders come to train our students.
Some of our past guest teachers have included Darlene Zschech, Jeff Deyo, Kari Jobe, Desperation Band, Ricardo Sanchez, Hillsong’s Reuben Morgan and others. All of your training will take place in one of the premier outreach and worship churches in the world. You can be a part of numerous worship and outreach opportunities. Once you graduate, our referral service can help place you in Music Ministry positions around the world. This program is approved for F-1 International Students.
Second Year
At the VBI School of Worship, our goal is to equip you to step into the call of a worship leader in anointing and excellence. The second year program in the School of Worship is designed to prepare you to step into a Worship Leader position in a local church. Classes focus on studio recording, advanced vocal and instrumental training, sound, a worship practicum where students are placed in real-life worship environments as well as leadership in the VBI morning worship teams. There are also opportunities throughout the year to travel in ministry teams, both in the United States and overseas.
